I picked R up at the airport at about 1 a.m. Friday night (OK, Saturday a.m.) and we got going around 7:45 a.m. After a very full day (R is working on a page, so I won't steal her thunder), we lost folks one by one beginning after lunch, with Wade sticking it out until the end, getting the prize, AKA 'speeding infraction'. Since I was the leader, I certainly didn't go home empty handed either (before you ask, they were for 10 mph over, $76) on a country highway.
Mark B. got harassed mercilessly about the keychain massacre! People that aren't liked don't get teased, and Mark took the ribbing in great humor!
Too many cool things happened to mention here, but we'll just say that 'a picture is worth a thousand words' will certainly ring true!
Finally heading to my place for some much needed R&R, heading out to the airport about midnight.
Summary: If you ever get a chance to spend nearly an entire continuous day with Rachel, do it! Incredible sense of humor, energy, wit, knowledge, etc...I haven't talked that much since, well, ever!

p.s. remember the 500 mile homecoming warm-up next Saturday. You don't need to actually plan on going to homecoming to come along! e-mail if interested. As previously mentioned, I will take off at 6:30 a.m. if folks are interested and 4:30 a.m. if solo. Reason for the early start can be summerized up in one abbreviaton: RV's. North Cascades pass is a blast, but we will want to keep our speed up and this is diffult when proceeding on a windy mountain road, following diesel-belching recreational vehicles.
