o/ I’m gonna love you... like nobody’s loved you, come rain or come shine... /o
8am~ So, they say its going to rain for th next two days, and there is even a flash flood advisory. My gal pal’s birthday and my teacher’s last weekend of classes. But I had previous plans to go on Mick’s Dry Run. Actually, I needed a drive. The weather looked kinda like this- but more specific. ( This is after I got home. )

Before I left it was all clear on the western side of the storm, that is, exactly where we were headed. No one had said anything about not going, Dave had driven up from Maryland and stayed at a hotel, so I set out into the storm.

930am~ When I got to the meet point I found Dave and JonT, and that Mick wasn’t coming. That’s cool, the drive out got a little hairy and I began to wonder at the wisdom of setting out in a rain storm. Still, we didn’t have any roads in mind to drive, no leader. It was pouring rain while we stood under the gas station roof. After a little yak we decided to just go drive- I knew some roads to start down in Flemington and Frenchtown.

I was just about to ask if Dave was going to drop his top when I saw him putting it down. That’s a very good sign. ;p
It had stopped raining. It was as if it rained until we put our tops down and then stopped. The sun came out and shone on us the rest of the day.

We got as lost as we could and then we found THE ROAD.

You know, THE ROAD. (grin)

Very satisfied, we ambled to the now empty roads around the Delaware Water Gap.

Around 230pm~ we had a food emergency. It looked like it was about to rain, and as I was thinking about stopping to put my top up, we found the Layton Hotel in Hackettstown.

After lunch we came out and found the rain had stopped and the sun came out again, as if it were waiting.

Well, I was beat, my tank was empty, it was time to head home, so Jon Led us back to 78 and sent me on my way as he and Dave headed for 278

o/Happy together, unhappy together, oh won’t that be fine?/o

The sky went from bright blue to gray, and I could see the rains ahead...These pics were taken only a couple minutes apart

o/ The days may be cloudy or sunny /o
And then went back to stinking. Look at the puddle spray... This wasn’t even the bad part. There’s an Audi TT who isn’t enjoying it much either

All in all it was a breeze getting home. Thanks Jon, and safe journey home David!
