the second time's a charm... (archive)

Here's a "excellent" rating for the guys at Lauderdale Imports. Ok, so the first time, there appeared to be some miscommunication and an econo-rental offered complete with a piece of toast stuck on the carpet [no extra charge]. However, one phone call and not only did the original saleman [who had already distinguished himself apart from all others I had ever experienced] join in, but so did the gen. manager, service manager, and the service consultant, along with a 328i loaner, spotless. A couple of days later, met with the tech doing the work. This followed by some outstanding efforts to resolve some issues with the "baby". I can't say they were entirely successful, the seatbelt still grabs ya despite a replacement, and the tranny still clunks occasionally despite a teardown, but hey, they get an big "A+" for effort with these admittedly tough problems, and all other issues were resolved. Now about these damn paint chips on the hood.....
