Had the same problem on sunny days when I wash the windshield or when the sun comes out after the rain. Apparently the V1's signature defintion for LASER is pretty broad. Nothing to worry about.

Glad to hear things turned out OK. The pic with Emmy and the salt hurts (ouch!).
