BMWCCA does not have a rule concerning Z3s on track events. It's left to the chapter and the track. Genessee Valley Chapter (home: Watkins Glen) allows Z3s with a ROLLBAR. The factory hoops are not sufficient.

At the last event at the Glen, one person from a Pennsylvania chapter remarked to me (paraphrased): "we don't allow Z3s at our events. It's up to the president, and I'm the president".

Even at GVC/ WGI events, some instructors will not ride in Z3s/ convertibles.

The monthly BMWCCA/ PCA autocross does allow stock Z3s to run.
