I noticed about a 1/4 inch difference on my tailpipes but my dealer gave me the "within tolerances" excuse. When I was at the dealer, I noticed another 3.0 with the same problem.
sure bugs me for $50K.

...just follow the three URLs. Note, clearance between bumper and tailgate/driver side body panel...
