There is a new TSB in Roundel about the steering vibration. Tell the dealer what is happening, and mention the TSB. BMW has a fix.

The radio not playing -- if you look at the display, the DSP section to th eright ("Memory 1" or whatever you have it set for) is not displayed when there is no sound. I have had my radio replaced twrice, and my hrad unit replaced once. If I weren't selling my car, I would next try the DSP unit, since the display is exactly as it should be, except the DSP is obviously not working correctly when there is no sound. Anyway, this is a common complaint, and BMW could care less.
