Mine was one of the earlier guniea pigs in the discovery process; took 2.5 days to diag and reload. I am led to believe the actual uploading of new software into OBC is "about 90 mins" start to finish. Not that that helps you. Also was told by knucklehead dealer, after being told by BMWNA rep that it was on Alpine w/In Dash single CD slot player. Either both he and dealer had not bumped into the changer issue or did not divulge it a week ago. The prob is at sustained temps < 40 F., the radio/CD player(?), "comes on" and drains the ol'batt. I would beat on dealer and get closer to the front of the line. Either they don't know how to reprogram, not sure of situ w/changer being "the same fix" or waiting from words of wisdom from Mother bmw, or all three. Beat on them. GL,md
