I had the same prob & have posted fix 3x b4: There is a BMW Tech Bulletin about the radio "waking up" while the car is not being used.(especially in cold weather) This can drain the battery in a matter of a few days. My dealer replaced the radio several weeks ago, - no prob since, even allowing the car to sit idle in below freezing temps for 5 days. Hope this helps.


Now the REAL BMW warranty service begins.

1st time - cell phone

2nd time - fan resistor

3rd time - ???????

Any guesses, besides the obvious ones - defective battery and/or alternator?
