Search the archives for this. The sticker on your windshield specifically mentions that problems from brake dust shields may invalidate warranties if problems arise. But if your dealer sells them and installs them, that may not be a problem. If the brakes are used hard (and the DSC uses them for traction control), you could have problems from their use. The brakes may not have been as good as they are if they had used some other harder material.
