Well, when I drove home in the evening at a turn I stepped on the gas and went above 5000 RPM. Then steam came out from the engine compartment. I pulled the car to a nearby supermarket parking lot. The hose between the auxillary water pump and valve body was burst. Specifically the plastic connector at the valve body side which the hose was clamped to was torn. Two gallons of coolant was lost. I clamped the hose back to the remaining plastic section, refilled with distilled water, and continued to drive home slowly.
Well, may be when the auxillary water pump was turned off all water pressure was applied to that section and broken the old plastic. Time to change anew.
